Outlying Islands

Atticist
Producer and lighting designer for David Greig's Outlying Island's at the King's Head Theatre. This is the first revival of the show since its sold out run at the Royal Court in 2002.

Producer and lighting designer for the premiere of Oisín McKenna's new spoken word theatre piece about being poor, precarious and lonely in London, and adding items to your Watched List on eBay in the hopes of feeling better. The show premiered at the 2019 VAULT Festival.

Lighting designer for the Irish and UK tour of The Story of William, Who Died which used theatre combined with physical performance and mask to explore the story of a young artist in London in 1890.

Producer and lighting designer for Confirmation, a new musical memoir from Xnthony exploring the complex relationships we have to the places we call home. The show debuted at the Dublin Fringe Festival before transferring to Roscommon Arts Centre.

Lighting Designer for Erica Murray's The Cat's Mother which played at the Edinburgh Fringe and at the Dublin Fringe Festival where it won the Fishamble New Writing Award.

Lighting Designer for Christina Murdock's Dangerous Giant Animals, a new solo show exploring the complexities of caring. The show debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it won the inaugural SIT UP Award. The show then transferred Off-Broadway at the United Solo Festival and Off-West-End to the Park Theatre and the Tristan Bates Theatre.

AniMalcolm

Story Pocket Theatre Company
Marketing Co-Ordinator for the debut tour of AniMalcolm. A new musical for all the family. The show is touring the UK in Summer 2018 and undertaking a run at the Edinburgh Fringe Family. Based on the book by David Baddiel.

Sodom & Begorrah

Xnthony

An Irish themed club night from XNTHONY which brings together the hottest talent from across the UK and Ireland. The company also presented the performances from the event on the River Stage at the National Theatre in July 2018.

Swipe Right Theatre Company

Relighter for Swipe Right Theatre Company's 2 Become 1 at VAULT Festival 2018. The show is a 90s pop musical which has played at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the King's Head Theatre.

Atticist

Lighting Designer and Production Manager for the London revival of Steven Berkoff's East at its original London home, The King's Head Theatre from January 9th to February 3rd 2018.

2017

Xnto Panto 2: Christmas Cracked!

Xnthony

Producer and Co-Creator of Xnto Panto 2: Christmas Cracked!, the sequel to Xnthony's 2016 sold-out smash-hit XNTO PANTO. The show plays Dublin and London in December 2017.

X+CO.

Producer and Lighting Designer for the new show from X & Co. that premiered at the 2017 Dublin Fringe Festival. Created with Anthony Keigher and Tiffany Murphy, the show follows XNTHONY as he decides to rebrand following his failure to represent Ireland at the Eurovision. Out is the glitter and glam and in is his wife to be Tiffany in the celebrity wedding of the millennium. 

Matthew Floyd Jones

Lighting Designer for a new play by Fringe First winning Matthew Floyd Jones (Frisky and Mannish / A Super Happy Story [About Feeling Super Sad]). The show played the 2017 Brighton Fringe Festival before undertaking a UK tour during which it won the award for Best New Writing at the Buxton Fringe. The show played the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival at Underbelly to critical acclaim.

Quilliam

Lighting Designer for a new play by Nazish Khan exploring issues of radicalisation. The show previewed at the Kings Head Theatre before premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe. The show was met with critical praise and was longlisted for the Amnesty Freedom of Expression Award at the Festival.

Wank Bank

Rural Ranga

Technician for the Edinburgh Fringe run of the award-winning Wank Bank at Gilded Balloon. The show won the Best Interactive Show award at the Adelaide Fringe Weekly Awards. The show transferred to New York and Sweden following its Edinburgh run and will play in Australia and New Zealand in 2018.

Pussy Play

Technician for the Edinburgh Fringe run of Pussy Play at Gilded Balloon. The show received four-star reviews over the course of its run and will transfer to Australia and New Zealand in 2018.

Talking Scarlet & Hello World Productions

Deputy Stage Manager on the UK tour of Strictly Murder by Brian Clemens. The show toured extensively throughout 2017. The production starred Brian Capron, Gary Turner, Corinne Wicks, Lara Lemon, and Andrew Fettes.

The Warren

Otherplace Productions

Senior Technician for the largest venue at the largest arts festival in England. Senior technician on a site that included four venues as well as a festival garden containing food stalls, two bars, and a marketplace. Duties included running on-site venues, training junior staff on equipment as well as building, maintaining, and breaking down the site.

Lipstuck

Xnthony

Producer and Co-Creator of Xnthony's Lipstuck which played in Dublin, London, and Reading. A night of alternative cabaret, the show presented new work by XNTHONY alonside a selection of guest acts from across the UK and Ireland.

Reality:Check Productions

Producer for the debut play from Michael-David McKernan in The New Theatre in Dublin. The show played for two weeks during which time it was met with critical praise.

2016

Relighter and Company Stage Manager for the Christmas 2016 presentation of Story Pocket Theatre's Family Show, Arabian Nights, at the Salisbury Playhouse.

XNTO PANTO

Xnthony

Producer and Co-Creator of X & Co.'s annual Christmas cabaret show. The show played in London and Dublin to sold-out audiences. The production featured an original scripted show from XNTHONY interspersed with guest performances from some of the best emerging talents from across the UK and Ireland.

Atticist

Lighting Designer and touring production co-ordinator for a new play by Katherine Rundell, directed by Jessica Lazar. The show opened at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it received over 10 five-star reviews and won the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award. The show subsequently transferred to the New York Theatre Workshop where it was met with critical acclaim.

Story Pocket Theatre Company

Lighting Designer for a new play from Story Pocket Theatre Company based on Michael Morpurgo's telling of the King Arthur tale. The show opened at the Gilded Balloon at the Edinburgh Fringe where it was met with critical acclaim. The show has subsequently undertaken three national UK tours.

2015

X+CO.

Producer and Lighting Designer for DOUZE by X+CO.  The show follows XNTHONY and The Penny Slots as they try to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest. The show has played across the UK, Ireland, France, and the Czech Republic to commercial and critical acclaim. As well as receiving multiple five-star reviews the show has won and been nominated for several awards.

Some Yank's Theatre Company

Producer for the Irish premiere of In Arabia We'd All Be Kings by Stephen Adly Guirgis. The show took over Players Theatre in Dublin for two weeks converting it into a New York dive bar. The show was met with critical acclaim during its run.

Breaking Good & Alchemy 8

Lighting Designer for Lyle Kessler's Orphans in the New Theatre in Dublin. The show ran for two weeks and was met with critical acclaim.

2014

Produced Moon

Designer for Produced Moon's immersive theatrical game, Eden Gate. The show premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it was met with critical acclaim and award nominations during its sold-out run.

According To His Need

Reds Theatre Company

Producer for the debut play by Oliver Eagleton. The show played at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it was met with critical acclaim before transferring for a two-week run at The New Theatre in Dublin.

My Name is Saoirse

Sunday's Child Theatre Company

Originating Producer and Lighting Designer for a solo show by Eva O'Connor. Following it's debut at the Pleasance Theatre in London, the show has gone on to award-winning runs in Ireland, the UK, and Australia.

2013

GRINDR / a love story

Pettycash

Director and designer for GRINDR / a love story by Oisín McKenna which played a sold-out run at the 2013 Dublin Fringe Festival. The play explored love in the internet age.

Sunday's Child Theatre Company

Set and Lighting Designer for Sunday's Child's Substance by Eva O'Connor. Following their success at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the company returned to the festival in 2013 with a brand new show about addiction. 

The Economist

DU Players

Director and Lighting Designer for The Economist by Tobias Manderson Galvin as part of the Trinity Fringe Festival. The show explored the massacre on Utøya Island carried out by Anders Breivik. The show was performed after the campus was engulfed in a debate about right-wing extremism after a noted extremist was invited to address members of the college community.

2012

Sunday's Child Theatre Company

Set and Lighting Designer for Sunday's Child's Kiss Me And You Will See How Important I Am by Eva O'Connor. The show debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it won the NSDF Emerging Artist of the Year Award. Following this success, it transferred to the Pleasance in London and Project Arts Centre in Dublin.

The Laramie Project

DU Players

Director for The Laramie Project in Players Theatre. Peter Corboy won Best Actor at the DU Players Awards for his performance in the show.
